Alpine Evergreen was founded in 1946 by Roy and Gertrude Reid and their son, Paul, as a Christmas tree and timber growing company. The Christmas trees grown in Kitsap and Mason counties were shipped throughout the Northwest as well as to faraway places like California, Alaska, Mexico and Hawaii. Since then, several generations of Reid family members have joined in the Christmas tree production business. Alpine U Cut and HRD Tree Farms are operated by 3rd generation Jerry Reid, his wife Nancy and their son Tim.  Jerry is a graduate of the University of Washington College of Forestry and has 60 years experience in the Christmas Tree business.

Producing the perfect tree is not as easy as you might think. It takes many years and countless hours of year round work that involves planting, pruning, shearing and fertilizing before the tree is ready to be harvested. We know that every family has a different idea of what the “perfect tree” looks like. We invite you to come browse through the thousands of trees that we’ve spent years growing until you find exactly what you're looking for. Our helpful staff will be able to point you in the right direction when you tell them what type of tree meets your needs.  

WHOLESALE AND FUNDRAISING IDEAS:

We also offer wholesale Christmas tree sales that are perfect for your own retail lot or as a fundraiser for an organization that you belong to. Many of our customers are Boy Scout Troops, Schools, Churches and other Non-profit organizations.
